How Should It Be Stored?

Tipranavir capsules should be stored in the refrigerator until you open the bottle the first time. After that, you can store it at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Once the bottle is opened, you must discard any unused capsules after 60 days. Keep the capsules in an airtight container.
 
Tipranavir oral solution should be kept at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze tipranavir oral solution. Once the bottle is opened, you must discard any unused solution after 60 days.
  

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Tipranavir?

It is very important that you not miss tipranavir doses. If you do not take your tipranavir as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.
