Zeosa Birth Control Information

Oral contraceptives are an easy-to-use, convenient form of birth control. ZeosaTM (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is a birth control pill that is unique in that it can be either chewed or swallowed. This makes it a great choice for women who want to take an oral contraceptive but have difficulty swallowing pills.

As with all birth control pills, you must take Zeosa consistently to minimize the risk of unintentional pregnancy. Pick a time every day that is easy to remember, such as at bedtime.

Prior to taking Zeosa, inform your healthcare provider about any medical conditions you have, such as diabetes, gallbladder disease, or liver problems. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are a smoker or will be having an upcoming surgery. This form of birth control is not right for everyone, and your healthcare provider will need this and other information to make sure this medication is appropriate in your situation.
