Tri-Estarylla Birth Control Information

EstaryllaTM (norgestimate/ethinyl estradiol) is a type of birth control pill. In addition to preventing pregnancy, this oral contraceptive is also approved for acne treatment. It works to prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation, changing the cervical mucus, and altering the uterine lining.

Dosing with Tri-Estarylla is the same for every woman -- one pill taken once a day. It is important to take the pills in the correct order and at the same time every day. Although this is an effective form of birth control when taken consistently, taking it incorrectly can increase your risk of unintentional pregnancy.

Because this form of birth control is not suitable for every woman, make sure to go over Tri-Estarylla's safety information before starting the medication. Although most women tolerate it well, side effects are possible and include bloating, headaches, and breast tenderness. In most cases, reactions are minor and easy to treat.
