Philith Birth Control Information

Available by prescription only, PhilithTM (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is a type of birth control pill that is approved to prevent pregnancy. It works by stopping ovulation, changing the lining of the uterus, and altering the cervical mucus. Philith is a generic version of Ovcon® 35.
 
This contraceptive comes in a pack containing 28 pills, including 21 active pills and 7 inactive pills that do not contain any active ingredients. Take each pill by mouth once a day, at the same time each day. It's important to take Philith consistently, as missing doses can increase your risk of pregnancy. Side effects may include nausea, headaches, and breast tenderness.
