Natazia Birth Control Information

NataziaTM (dienogest/estradiol valerate) is a medication prescribed to help prevent pregnancy. It is a combined hormonal contraceptive that contains two different hormones (estrogen and progestin) and primarily works by stopping ovulation in a woman.

This drug comes in tablet form and is taken by mouth once a day. Natazia is the first "four-phasic" birth control pill, which means that each pack of Natazia contains varying doses of the hormones at four different phases in the cycle.

Just like any birth control pill, Natazia may not be suitable for all women. Safety information should be discussed with your healthcare provider before you start using it. Some of the most common side effects of Natazia include nausea, breast tenderness, and headaches.
