Introvale Birth Control Information

Women have several options when it comes to birth control. IntrovaleTM (levonorgestrel/ethinyl) is a type of oral contraceptive that also enables women to only have their period four times a year. The product comes in tablet form and should be taken every day, preferably at the same time each day, as missing pills increases the chance of pregnancy.

Prior to taking Introvale, inform your healthcare provider about any medical conditions you have -- in particular, clotting disorders, high blood pressure, or a history of heart attack or stroke -- and about any other drugs you are taking. This product is not right for every woman, and having this information will help your healthcare provider determine if this is the right type of birth control for you.
