CamreseLo Birth Control Information
Camrese®Lo (levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is a combined oral contraceptive prescribed to prevent pregnancy in women of reproductive age. This generic version of LoSeasonique® works by stopping ovulation, changing the lining of the uterus, and altering the cervical mucus.
Because this extended-cycle contraceptive contains 91 pills, women taking CamreseLo will only have a menstrual period once every three months. Make sure to take the pill every day and at the same time each day. Missing doses or taking these pills inconsistently can increase your risk of an unintentional pregnancy. Side effects of this contraceptive include headaches, nausea, and back pain.
Because CamreseLo may not be the best birth control option for all women, your healthcare provider will need information on your medical history and any medications you are taking. If you have a history of blood clots, heart problems, or migraines, you may not be able to safely use this product.
