Drug Interactions With Stavudine
Taking certain medications together can possibly lead to dangerous drug interactions. Some medications that can cause drug interactions with stavudine include didanosine and interferon medications. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of potentially dangerous medical conditions (including liver damage and pancreatitis) or can make stavudine less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely to avoid these conditions.
