Who Should Not Take Saquinavir?

You should not take saquinavir if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Invirase, saquinavir mesylate, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Have severe liver disease.
     
  • Take any of the medications that should never be taken with saquinavir (see Drug Interactions With Saquinavir).
