Mifeprex Side Effects

Your healthcare provider needs to know right away if you develop problems like heavy vaginal bleeding or a persistent fever after taking Mifeprex. Fortunately, most side effects of this drug are generally minor and treated easily. Clinical trials have shown that abdominal (stomach) pain, vaginal bleeding, and uterine cramping are the most commonly reported reactions to this prescription medication.

An Introduction to Mifeprex Side Effects

Just like any medicine, Mifeprex® (mifepristone) can cause side effects. In fact, most people who take the medication will experience some type of side effect. However, in most cases, the side effects are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Mifeprex. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
