Serious Problems With Mifeprex

Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Mifeprex are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
 
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling, especially of the mouth, lips, or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
 
  • A racing or forcefully beating heart
  • Prolonged, heavy vaginal bleeding (soaking through two full-thickness pads within an hour for at least two consecutive hours)
  • A persistent fever over 100.4°F, which lasts for over four hours
  • Signs of infection, such as:
 
    • Abdominal (stomach) pain or discomfort
    • Severe pelvic tenderness
    • Weakness
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Diarrhea that lasts longer than 24 hours after taking Mifeprex.
