If you have been diagnosed with abnormal bleeding, your healthcare provider may recommend medroxyprogesterone (Provera®) to get your period back on track. This product comes in the form of a tablet that is taken once a day. After the drug is stopped, "withdrawal bleeding" usually occurs within three to seven days.
