STD Home > Maraviroc for HIV/AIDS

Maraviroc (Selzentry™) is a prescription medication that is used to treat HIV and AIDS in adults and children over the age of 16. It is not designed to be used alone. Rather, it should always be used in combination with other HIV medications. In addition, it is only approved for treating certain types of HIV infection (not all types of the virus are susceptible to maraviroc). The medication comes in tablet form and is typically taken twice a day.
