Taking certain medications together can possibly lead to dangerous drug interactions. Some medications that can cause drug interactions with stavudine include didanosine and interferon medications. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of potentially dangerous medical conditions (including liver damage and pancreatitis) or can make stavudine less effective.
