What If I Miss a Dose?
Missing doses of Pimtrea increases the risk of pregnancy. What you should do depends on how many tablets you have missed and where exactly you are in your cycle (see Pimtrea Dosage). If you are not sure what to do, refer to the patient information that comes with each pack, or consult your healthcare provider.
The medication is made by Novast Laboratories, Ltd., for Northstar Rx LLC.
Pimtrea comes in one strength, containing 0.15 mg of desogestrel and 0.02 mg of ethinyl estradiol for the first 21 tablets, no active ingredients for the next 2 tablets, and 0.01 mg of ethinyl estradiol and no desogestrel for the last 5 tablets.
