What If I Overdose on Depo-Provera?

What If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose of Depo-Provera, contact your healthcare provider. He or she may need to make sure you are not pregnant before giving you another dose.

How Should This Medication Be Stored?

Depo-Provera should be stored at room temperature. It is normally stored by your healthcare provider. Make sure to keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

Depo-Provera is available in the following strengths and forms:
  • Depo-Provera 400 mg per mL in 2.5-mL vials
  • Depo-Provera 150 mg per mL in 1-mL vials
  • Depo-Provera 150 mg per mL in 1-mL prefilled syringes.
