Caziant is an oral contraceptive that is designed to be taken every day to prevent pregnancy. It contains two different types of hormones, and is a triphasic birth control pill, which means that there are different amounts of hormones each week. The last week of pills contains no hormones. Most women have no problems with Caziant, but side effects can include spotting between periods and breast tenderness.
What Is Caziant?Caziant™ (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription birth control pill (technically known as an oral contraceptive). This medication is a generic version of Cyclessa®.
Are There Side Effects?

- Nausea or vomiting
- Breast tenderness.
