It contains two hormones (an estrogen and a progestin) that work together to stop ovulation and change the cervical mucus and uterine lining. The medication is taken once a day, at the same time each day. Nausea, breast tenderness, and spotting are some of the common side effects of this drug.
Are There Side Effects? As with any medicine, Briellyn can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the contraceptive will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
