STD Home > Important Info on Atazanavir

How Should This Medication Be Stored?

Atazanavir should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the capsules in their original container. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

It is important that you not miss any atazanavir doses. If you do not take your atazanavir as scheduled, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.

Who Makes Atazanavir?
