IndinavirIndinavir is often used in combination with other medications to treat HIV and AIDS. It is a type of protease inhibitor that helps to stop the spread of HIV to uninfected cells in the body. Indinavir, which is available by prescription, comes in the form of a capsule that is taken three times daily. Potential side effects of indinavir include nausea, vomiting, and kidney stones.
