Who Should Not Take Fosamprenavir?

You should not take fosamprenavir if you:
 
  • Are allergic to fosamprenavir calcium, Lexiva, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Are allergic to amprenavir (Agenerase®), a similar medication.
     
  • Take any of the medications that should never be taken with fosamprenavir (see Drug Interactions With Fosamprenavir).
