Drug Interactions With Etonogestrel/Ethinyl Estradiol Vaginal RingCertain medications can cause negative drug interactions with etonogestrel/ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring that could lead to an increased risk for side effects and pregnancy. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider about all drugs you are taking before using the contraceptive. Medicines that may cause etonogestrel/ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring interactions include aprepitant, protease inhibitors, modafinil, and rifamycin antibiotics.
