Elinest
As a type of prescription birth control pill, Elinest is used mainly to prevent pregnancy. This generic version of Lo/Ovral works by stopping ovulation, changing the cervical mucus, and altering the lining of the uterus. Side effects may include acne, headaches, and nausea. This contraceptive comes as a tablet that must be taken once a day, every day, at the same time each day.
What Is Elinest?
Elinest™ (norgestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription oral contraceptive. It is approved for the prevention of pregnancy and is one of the many versions of "the pill." Are There Side Effects?
Just like any medicine, Elinest may cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the contraceptive will experience problems. In fact, most women tolerate it quite well.If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
