What If I Overdose on This Medication?

Women who take too much Elinest may experience the following symptoms:
 
  • Vaginal bleeding or other menstrual irregularities (in women and girls)
  • Nausea, with or without vomiting.

Storage Information

Keep the tablets in their original package. The packaging is designed to help you remember to take the tablets each day and in the correct order. Keep the package at room temperature and away from moisture or heat.
 
Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What If I Miss a Dose?

Missing doses of Elinest increases the risk of pregnancy. What you should do depends on how many tablets you have missed and where exactly you are in your cycle (see Elinest Dosage). Refer to the patient information that comes with each package for more information on what to do, or consult your healthcare provider.
 

Who Makes Elinest?

Elinest is made by Novast Laboratories.
 

Available Strengths

Elinest comes in packs of 28 tablets, containing 0.3 mg of norgestrel and 0.03 mg of ethinyl estradiol in each of the first 21 tablets. The last seven tablets of each pack do not contain any active ingredients.
