Efavirenz should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the tablets and capsules in an airtight container. If you are mixing this medication in soft food or baby formula, it must be given within 30 minutes of mixing. Keep efavirenz and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Efavirenz?

It is very important that you not miss efavirenz doses. If you do not take your efavirenz as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.
