Efavirenz, Emtricitabine, and TenofovirEfavirenz, emtricitabine, and tenofovir is a combination medicine that is commonly used for the treatment of HIV and AIDS. It contains drugs from three different classes of HIV medications and can either be used alone or as part of an HIV "cocktail." While most people tolerate efavirenz, emtricitabine, and tenofovir well, potential side effects of the medicine include headaches, fatigue, diarrhea, and dizziness.
