Storage Methods

Didanosine capsules should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Didanosine oral solution should be kept in the refrigerator and is good for one month after it is mixed by your pharmacist (after one month, you must dispose of any unused didanosine oral solution). Keep didanosine capsules and didanosine oral solution in an airtight container.

Keep didanosine and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

It is very important that you do not miss didanosine doses. If you do not take your dose as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.
