Precautions and Warnings With Dasetta

Before taking Dasetta, women should tell their healthcare provider if they have depression, a history of a stroke, or gallbladder problems. Other precautions for using Dasetta safely include warnings of potential drug interactions and an increased risk for blood clots, heart attacks, or strokes. Also, this contraceptive should not be used by those who have high blood pressure or liver or heart disease.

Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
  • Have an upcoming surgery
  • Are over 35 years old
  • Smoke cigarettes
  • Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding.
 
You should also tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
