Balziva
™ (norethindrone/ethinyl estradiol) is a prescription
birth control pill. It is a type of "monophasic" birth control pill, which means that there is only one strength of hormones in each pack (unlike biphasic or triphasic pills, which have different phases of pills that contain different strengths of hormones in each pack).
Side Effects
As with any medicine, Balziva can cause side effects.
However, not everyone who uses the contraceptive will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
- Nausea or vomiting
- Breast tenderness
- Acne
- Headaches
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting (between periods).
