BalzivaBalziva, a prescription birth control pill, works to prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation, changing the lining of the uterus, and altering the cervical mucus. This oral contraceptive comes in the form of a tablet that is taken once a day. It is important not to miss any doses, as this increases your risk of pregnancy. Possible side effects include breakthrough bleeding, breast tenderness, and headaches.
