Amithyst

Were you looking for information about Amethyst? Amithyst is a common misspelling of Amethyst.

As an oral contraceptive, Amethyst™ (levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is used to prevent pregnancy. However, it is sometimes prescribed for other uses, such as acne or painful periods, although it is not approved to treat these conditions.

Unlike most other birth control pills, Amethyst contains no inactive tablets. This means you will not have a regular monthly period while taking it. This birth control pill contains two different hormones and works mainly by stopping ovulation.
