Ribavirin (Copegus, Rebetol, Ribasphere, Virazole)
Combining ribavirin with abacavir can increase the risk of serious side effects. In general, this combination of medications should be avoided if possible.
 
Valganciclovir (Valcyte)
Combining valganciclovir with abacavir may increase your risk of abacavir side effects, particularly the side effects that affect blood cells. Your healthcare provider may need to closely monitor your blood counts.
