Who Should Not Take Abacavir/Lamivudine/Zidovudine?

You should not take abacavir/lamivudine/zidovudine if you:
 
  • Are allergic to abacavir, lamivudine, zidovudine, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Have decreased liver function, usually caused by liver disease (such as liver failure or cirrhosis).
